Integration of Montenegro into NATO
On September 18, 2014. In the small hall of the Rožaje Cultural Center, organized by the Human Resources Administration and the Government's communication team for NATO, a lecture on "Integration of Montenegro into NATO" was held.
The lecture was held by assistant professor Dr. Mehmedin Tahirović and admiral of the Slovenian army Renato Petrić on the basis of communication guidelines for initiating and leading a public dialogue on Montenegro's accession to NATO. Education on Euro-Atlantic integration, organized by the Human Resources Department, aims to present to local communities what NATO means as a system of collective security.
It is very important that the information about how NATO works is realistic and accurate. In addition, we are trying to conduct a dialogue and clarify all ambiguities, as well as certain misconceptions that exist, not only among our citizens, but also among people who are responsible for the implementation of the policy - said the head of the public relations and protocol service at the Ministry of Defense of Montenegro. The lecture was attended by members of the local parliament, managers of municipal bodies and companies, as well as many citizens who took part in the discussion by asking questions on this topic. The delegation that held the lecture was received by the President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Ejup Nurković, in his office, where they exchanged opinions on this topic, expressing mutual satisfaction with the visit to the Municipality of Rožaje...
