Notification of road conditions

In the late afternoon on Sunday 28.12.2014. in the area of the municipality of Rožaje, snow began to fall intensively until the early hours of the morning. On Monday 29.12.2014. year, there was a total of 20-30 cm of snow cover.

The communal company Rožaje, from the early hours of the morning, engaged all available machinery to clear the snow, so that all city roads were cleared on time and enabled for safe traffic.

As for local roads, all available machinery has also been on the ground since the early hours of the morning, so that all primary road routes to schools, as well as those that connect settlements with the city area, are also cleared of snow in time and ready for traffic.

There were no traffic jams or delays.

Currently, work is being done to clear the snow on the less significant roads, which will also be ready for traffic by the end of the day.

By the way, the Municipal Company, which is responsible for the maintenance of city roads, as well as the contractors with whom the Municipality concluded contracts for the maintenance of local and uncategorized roads in the winter period, were ready to welcome the snow, so that major problems in the maintenance of roads and streets, regardless of amount of precipitation, there won't be.

Citizens are required to clean the driveways to their homes, yards, and business buildings and permanently remove snow, in order to reduce the risk of possible accidents and avoid legal penalties.
