We are transcribing the director's address in its entirety:
"Dear Mr. President of the Municipality, dear students, respected colleagues, One of the most beautiful moments in the life of our school is this very day - when we see off the best students, those who, through their work, dedication and responsibility, have shown that they are ready for the upcoming life challenges, that they have understood and accepted the fact that knowledge is power and that only, with the help of power, can they safely walk the unpredictable paths of life. This year, as you know, we celebrated our 50th anniversary and already on this new path we are recording great results from our students. I want to share with you - those present here, the feeling of pride that I manage an institution that, in these unpredictable times, achieves its mission better and more stably. This feeling of pride is also based on the fact that in our Gymnasium we have great young people, students who respond in the right way to the expressed appreciation, respect, openness in communication, willingness to provide help and support so that the results of the work are even better. In previous years, we tried to create better material and technical conditions, to make this school a pleasant and stimulating environment for all of us who are now becoming part of its history. That's why I believe that students leave the school desks carrying our Gymnasium in their hearts, with the desire to always return to it and remember the days they spent there. Also, it is very significant and fulfilling to know that a large number of people, our fellow citizens, parents of students, as well as friends of this school, recognize our efforts and achieved results. Sending off this generation of graduates, and convinced that I share the feelings of all professors, I can say with pleasure that mature, educated, self-confident and, above all, well-mannered young people leave the benches. Today, this building itself exudes satisfaction and positive energy at the moment when 33 high school graduates receive the highest award given to students during their education. Because the number is known for one city, not a single school. I wish you, my dear students, that your goals are far from average achievements, that you work on yourself, that you diligently achieve the set goals and that in this way, by opening new horizons, you help the development of your city - your Rožaj, and your country of Montenegro. I congratulate you on the recognition that will be presented to you today. Know that you are the LIGHT, that you are the light of this school in this - one in a series of years that stopped in the middle of the first century. And more than that. Thank you!”
