VISIT OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ROŽAJE, EJUP NURKOVIĆ, TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF PEĆ

On Saturday, May 2, 2015, Mr. Ejup Nurković visited the Municipality of Peć, where he was hosted by the President of the Municipality of Peć, Mr. Gazmend Muhaxheri.

In addition to the President of the Municipality, the official delegation consisted of the President of the Bosniak Council in Montenegro, Osman Nurković and Mr. Esad Plunac, the head of the Council for International Cooperation-member of the Assembly of Rožaje and the president of FC Ibar.

The President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Ejup Nurković, informed his colleague about the future directions of development of the local administration of Rožaje, with the desire for future cooperation and joint action in the development of joint projects, regional and inter-municipal cooperation. They jointly expressed their desire to apply to the EU and other funds, in a partnership relationship, to realize the common interests of Peć and Rožaj, in order to improve the development of the municipalities and have a significant impact on the economy of the state of Montenegro and Kosovo.

The delegation of the Municipality of Rožaje also visited the local community of Vitomirica, which is mostly made up of Bosniaks, and discussed their status and living conditions in the Municipality of Peć.

The delegation from Rožaj also visited the administration of the football club Behar from Vitomirica, where Mr. Plunac agreed on further cooperation between the football club Ibar from Rožaj and the football club Behar from Vitomirica.

The President of the Municipality Ejup Nurković invited the President of the Municipality of Peć, Mr. Gazmend Muhaxheri, to visit the Municipality of Rožaje, and he accepted it with pleasure.
