THE PRESIDENT OF THE MUNICIPALITY HOSTED KICK BOXER MENSUR MURIC

The president of the municipality of Rožaje, Ejup Nurković, today received in his office the kick boxer with international fame, Mensur Murić.

Let us remind you that young Rožajac is a competitor of the kickboxing team of Montenegro and that he is a member of "Ariston" from Podgorica. This extremely talented athlete has so far had a lot of successful international matches with very notable results and constantly proves his sporting talent at every new competition.

The president of the municipality, Mr. Ejup Nurković, says, among other things, that Mensur is proof that work and sacrifices in the name of sports always pay off, and Mensur's success is in support of that. In addition to individually building himself as a professional athlete and fighter, he also contributes to his hometown and thus to the country in the same way. The local administration is well aware of the importance of sports and in this field makes additional efforts in order to provide quality infrastructure and to encourage primarily young people, children and youth, to play sports. Among other things, the President emphasizes the importance of genetic predispositions that our children and youth have, which form a very important segment in the overall development of a sports personality.

In the end, he congratulated Murić on his sports results and wished him success in his further sports career.

To remind you, Mensur won the bronze medal in the category up to 86 kilograms in the Wako Federation in the last European competition at the championship for seniors, which was held in Maribor.
