The representatives of the Rožaj Mejlis expect the SO to improve the position of all religious communities

Representatives of the Majlis of the Islamic Community in Rožaje visited today the President of the Rožaje Municipal Assembly, Almir Avdić.

On this occasion, Luboder congratulated Avdić on taking over the post of president of the local parliament and expressed their belief that he will deal with the complex challenges that this position entails while respecting legal and moral principles.

The leaders of the Mejlis of the Islamic Community in Rožaj also expressed their expectation that Avdić, from the position of president of the local assembly, will contribute to the improvement of the political dialogue among the representatives of all political structures representing the citizens of Rožaj, and that in the parliament headed by him, only those decisions will be made that will in the long term to bring benefits to the inhabitants of both urban and rural areas of the municipality of Rožaje, whose main goal will be general prosperity.

During the conversation, it was pointed out that in the course of future work, in the local parliament, issues related to the improvement of the functioning of all religious communities in the territory of the municipality of Rožaje will be approached with responsibility, for which, at the same time, the Medžis of the Islamic community in Rožaje is actively advocating.

The President of the SO, Almir Avdić, warmly thanked for the visit and said that the local parliament and the Municipality of Rožaje will show openness to cooperation in the field of removing all barriers that stand in the way of the efficient functioning of institutions representing believers from the religions that are represented in Rožaje.
