Appeal to citizens not to dispose of waste next to the main landfill and containers

During the weekend, the regular rehabilitation of the city landfill "Mostina" began. According to the director of Komunal, Nazim Dacić, the maintenance of that landfill is necessary because it directly and indirectly affects the health of citizens.

The Municipal Office appealed to the citizens not to dispose of waste next to the main landfill and containers and not to form illegal landfills. As they say, the green areas in the city center are also threatened - the flowers that are planted are often destroyed during the night.

The city landfill is closed on Fridays and Sundays, on other days it is open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the introduction of a symbolic monetary charge for services, according to the model that was in force three years ago, has also been announced.
