Šabo Nurković: "President Husović passed the moral test"

Today, the President of the Municipality Rahman Husović, accompanied by his colleagues, visited the Association of Pensioners in Rožaje and presented a symbolic sum of money to the members of that organization in anticipation of the new year. .

"Our community owes a lot to retirees. They spent their working engagements advocating for a more developed and prosperous society. The local self-government will continue, to the extent possible, to improve the standard of living for all members of the elderly, and we will be partners in all projects that solve long-term issues of special importance for their livelihood," said President Husović. He added that in the past, the local self-government was at the service of both the Association of Pensioners and its members, who turned to the finance sector for various types of assistance.

The President of the Association of Pensioners, Šabo Nurković, in the introductory part of his presentation, pointed out that President Husović passed the moral test when it comes to Rožaj pensioners and thanked him for the support he has continuously provided to that organization since the day he assumed the position of the first man of the municipality. He also stated that he was pleased that the local self-government led by Husović expressed the will to further strengthen cooperation with pensioners, which, he concludes, will ultimately contribute to the more complete realization of their planned activities. to the state, pointing out at the same time the need to solve the housing issue for more than 20 pensioners. The Rožaje Pensioners' Association gathers 2,501 members.
