The Secretariat for Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection organized a public hearing

The Secretariat for Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection organized a public hearing on the adoption of the Decision on Amendments to the Decision on Compensation for Urban Rehabilitation (Official Gazette of Montenegro Municipal Regulations No. 12/21, 16/21 and 10/22) and the Decision on Amendments and amendments to the Decision on the payment for communal equipment of construction land (Official Gazette of Montenegro - Municipal Regulations No. 16/21) for a period of 15 days, and the central public hearing was held on April 8, 2022 at 12 noon.

The central public debate was attended by representatives of the Secretariat and a small number of interested citizens.

Amendments and additions to the aforementioned decisions refer to the reduction of the amount of fees for communal equipment and fees for urban rehabilitation, by zone.

Taking into account the overall socio-economic situation at the level of our Municipality, changes and additions to the relevant decisions have been started, with regard to the reduction of the fee from 20 to 30% per zone, with the aim of encouraging as many citizens as possible to start the process of legalizing illegally built buildings , of which there is not a small number in our territory, and thus our municipality's own income would be realized, as well as the largest possible number of citizens would be encouraged to start the procedure for the construction of new buildings provided for in the law.

After the end of the public discussion, the proposals of the aforementioned Decisions will be sent to the Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism of Montenegro for approval.

Upon approval by the competent Ministry, proposals for the Decision on amendments to the Decision on compensation for urban rehabilitation and the Decision on amendments to the Decision on compensation for communal equipment of construction land will be in the procedure of the Rožaje Municipality Assembly, for consideration and adoption.
