President Husović apologized to the management and players of FC "Nikšić" on behalf of all citizens of Rožaj

The President of the Municipality of Rožaje Rahman Husović apologized to the management and players of FC "Nikšić" and the entire sports public for the scandalous behavior of the group of fans of the football club "Ibar" during tonight's game.

The unpleasant scenes that we saw tonight at the Banžovo Brdo stadium are not a reflection of the sportsmanship that Rožaje is known for. It gives birth to a heritage of values that do not support any form of disrespect, insults and violence. Ibra fans are known as supporters of football, admirers of fair play, and above all for the humanitarian activities they continuously implement in the local community.

The citizens of Rožaj deeply regret the tonight's behavior of a group of people who, by causing an incident at the stadium, put a stain on Rožaj football.

On my behalf and on behalf of all citizens, I apologize to the management and players of FK "Nikšić" and to the entire sports community.

From the local self-government, there will be an initiative towards the competent authorities to carry out preventive and timely actions in the future in order to stop such events during sports meetings. I am sure that these are the expectations of all men and women from Rožaj, said President Husović.
