The municipality of Rožaje donates 5,000 euros in aid to the people of Turkey

The municipality of Rožaje decided to provide financial assistance to Turkey in the amount of five thousand euros. The decision on the allocation of funds was made by the President of the Municipality, Rahman Husović.

The money was forwarded to the address of the association Türkiye Bosna Sancak Derneği, which launched a major campaign to collect financial resources and life necessities for people from the areas devastated by the earthquake.

President Husović addressed the representatives of the Türkiye Bosna Sancak Derneği association with the following words:

Dear friends,

It is with deep pain that we received the news about the devastating earthquake in Turkey. The images of suffering that arrive daily from our brotherly country make us very concerned about the humanitarian consequences.
Dear brothers, we want you to know that our thoughts and hearts are with you and that we ask God to ease the situation of the families of the victims, the injured and those who were left without their homes.

In this name, we are sending you a symbolic financial aid, in the amount of 5,000 euros, as a sign of solidarity and sympathy with the people of Turkey in these difficult moments.

We hope that the consequences of this tragic event, with the help of good people, will soon be repaired and that Turkey will overcome this difficult challenge.
