A large number of citizens responded to the snow clearing action in Rožaje

Yesterday, organized by the Rožaje local government, a snow removal campaign was launched in front of buildings of importance to citizens. The action was led by the mayor of the municipality, Ejup Nurković with the vice-presidents (Idriz Nurković and Mirsad Azemović), and local government officials, employees of the local government, NGOs, BS Youth Forum and conscientious citizens joined.

Despite heavy rainfall, citizens are able to move around safely, and students are able to go to classes on time.

Thanks to the good response, this campaign cleaned schoolyards, the entrance in front of the Health Center, the Court building, the Employment Office, the Municipality of Rožaje, the entrances in front of mosques, churches, the city square, sidewalks and staircases. The snow was also cleared in front of the houses where the infirm and old live. Citizens are required to clear the snow in front of their homes and businesses, otherwise they will be fined.
