BiH Ambassador visited Rožaje
The Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Montenegro Branimir Jukić paid an official visit to the Municipality of Rožaje today.
Ambassador Jukić was welcomed by the presidents of the Municipality and the Municipal Assembly, Rahman Husović and Almir Avdić, and the head of the President's Cabinet, Ismet Kalač.
President Husović, expressing his heartfelt thanks for the visit, assessed that the cooperation between Rožaj and Bosnia and Herzegovina's municipalities is at a high level and that there are mutual ambitions for its crowning with concrete projects in various social areas. He also referred to the current economic conditions in the city under Hajlo and emphasized that they are related to the negative effects of the transition, noting that the Government of Montenegro is actively building a favorable environment for faster economic development with planned and generous investments, which, he said, will open the door domestic and foreign investments.
Ambassador Jukić said that there were many reasons for visiting Rožaje, emphasizing that the municipalities in the two countries have a lot of potential for cooperation in the scientific, cultural and economic fields.
He singled out that he is pleased that Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration, are additionally strengthening regional cooperation, exchanging experiences and affirming good neighborly relations.
The Speaker of the Rožaj Parliament, Almir Avdić, spoke about the political reality in Rožaj, concluding that the local assembly is attended by political entities ready to reach an agreement in order to achieve public interests, as well as that the result of constructive and stable political relations is currently reflected in the making of decisions that are useful for every citizen.
The President of the Board of Directors of the Post of Montenegro Mirsad Džudžević, who was one of the initiators of today's visit, presented, in his capacity as host, the most significant infrastructure projects that the Government is implementing in Rožaje, especially those from the sphere of tourism, which in the future guarantee intensive economic development of the local community and The north of the country.
The interlocutors agreed that in the coming period, special attention should be paid to strengthening the traffic infrastructure, which is a prerequisite for strengthening economic and overall relations.
