US Ambassador to Montenegro Judy Reising Rajnke on an official visit to the municipality of Rožaje
The US Ambassador to Montenegro, Judy Reising Rajnke, with her colleagues, was in the official residence today
visit to the municipality of Rožaje. The delegation was welcomed by representatives of the local self-government headed by President Ejup Nurković. At the meeting, a number of significant topics were raised that lead, as they said, to the realization of future cooperation.
Her Excellency Judy Reising Rajnke, the US Ambassador to Montenegro, at the end of her one-day stay in Rožaje, attended the premiere of the documentary film "STARO ROŽAJE - A MUSEUM TOWN THAT IS NO LONGER". After the promotion, the ambassador opened the photo exhibition "Staro Rožaje" by Halil Markišić.
The exhibition and film screening are the final program of the project "Let's preserve the cultural and historical heritage for the future of young people" realized by the NGO "Avlija", and the project was financed by the US Embassy in Montenegro.
H.E. Judy Reizing Rajnke, opening the exhibition of photos and postcards "Staro Rožaje", said that she was touched by the rich history and heritage of this region. Among other things, she emphasized that she was delighted with the warm welcome in Rožaje and emphasized that it is necessary to work together to preserve human rights and promote dialogue between cultures and religious communities.
On behalf of the Bosniak cultural society "Avlija", the attendees were introduced to the project by Ramiz ef. Luboder.
During her visit to Rožaj, Her Excellency Judi Reitzing Rajnka met with the leaders of the local administration and visited important cultural and historical sights of Rožaj.
