April snow threatened road routes

The President of the Municipality formed a headquarters to monitor the situation on the ground and after serious snowfall and sudden melting of the snow, which led to a serious increase in the water level of the Ibar River and its tributaries.

The announcement of new rainfall can further complicate and seriously endanger rural and urban road infrastructure, as well as agricultural farms.

In particular, at this moment, road routes are blocked in the municipalities of Balotiće, Bašča, Lučice, Lovnica and Koljeno, where there has already been a serious overflow from their riverbeds and the first landslides have appeared.

The local rural road in Lučice municipality is already closed due to a landslide, and mechanization has already been dispatched to repair that road.

The staff for monitoring the situation on the ground is headed by the President of the Municipality.
