The section through the village of Klanac is being paved

Today, work began on the modernization of the section of the road through the village of Klanac, which is about 300 meters long. The width of the asphalt road reaches 3 meters. The road route contributed to a better connection of that local community with the municipal core.

Klanc resident Daut Murić said that the modernized road section will greatly ease the living conditions of people in that part of the Rožaj municipality. "This asphalt means a lot to us. In this local community, there are over 30 households whose members live here constantly. A significant number of agricultural farms are located in this part of Rožaj. Earlier, the roads leading to our houses were in very bad condition, especially on this route. Due to the slope of the terrain, the rain washed away the macadam and created drifts. "We had to intervene together several times during the year to be able to pass," said Murić.

Locals expressed particular satisfaction at the successful completion of the works on the Hurije-Donja Lovnica-Ćosovica road, which is also the main section leading to that village. In this way, as they jointly assess, the road network that connects them to the city has been modernized to a large extent.

Activities on the installation of the asphalt curtain are financed by the Municipality of Rožaje in partnership with the locals who organized the installation of the preparatory surface for the asphalt.

The President of the Municipality, Rahman Husović, visited the works accompanied by the Vice-President Ismet Kalač and other associates, and during the meeting with the locals, he said that he was pleased that the works on improving the road infrastructure in that local community continued this year. "During the last year, the local self-government invested significant funds in the modernization of the road leading to Klanac. As we promised the locals then, we continued our activities during this construction season, of course, in line with the dynamics dictated by the budget funds. Our goal is to create better living and working conditions for the residents of this place, as well as for all citizens of Rožaj. We hope that some more favorable economic opportunities will follow in the coming period, which will give us the chance to invest much more in different forms of infrastructure," said Husović and pointed out that he knows that the needs of the citizens are huge and that the municipal leadership is working every day on models for establishing a better quality of life. ambience.

The head of the Municipality also emphasized that he is particularly encouraged by the reactions of the citizens, who, according to him, see the results of the efforts of the local administration in this field.

For years, the locals of Klanc have demanded that the local self-government be involved in solving their life problems caused by poor road infrastructure.

The works on the central road Hurije-Donja Lovnica-Ćosovica, which leads to Klanac and several other surrounding local communities, were completed two days ago. This was also the main infrastructural activity that the Municipality implemented this year.
