Avdić congratulated November 20, Sandžak Day

The President of the Rožaje Municipal Assembly, Almir Avdić, sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of November 20, Sandžak Day.

"I congratulate all Sandžak citizens in our country and the diaspora on November 20 - Sandžak Day. This is the date that marked the beginning of the struggle against fascism and every kind of injustice. Of course, for us, this day is also a symbol of equality, multiculturalism, the just fight for a better tomorrow, as well as the fight for a more prosperous society," wrote Avdić.

Please note that 74 years ago, on November 20, 1943, the National Anti-Fascist Council of People's Liberation of Sandžak (ZAVNOS) was founded in Pljevlja, which gave Sandžak its autonomy, within which it had a guaranteed right to internal self-organization and management of its own borders.
