Christmas Eve in Rožaje
In the presence of a large number of believers, a holy liturgy was served in the Ružica church in Rožić on the occasion of Christmas Eve and the upcoming most joyous Christian holiday, Christmas.
The holy liturgy was served by parish priest Milan Stanšić, after which the Christmas epistle of Serbian Patriarch Irinej was read, in which all the values of Christmas are highlighted. Among other things, it is said that Christmas, the most joyous Christian holiday, should be a guide so that Christian believers should feel all the benefits of the holiday, both among themselves and with all other good people.
The President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Ejup Nurković, also sent a congratulatory message to the Christian faithful on the occasion of the coming Christmas, who wished good luck to the clergy and believers, as well as good health, peace and happiness to all believers. This year, the municipality of Rožaje donated gift packages to the children from the Church Choir, who received great applause with the appropriate recitation. Congratulations were also sent by representatives of political parties from Rožaje, head of OB Rožaje Sadik Šabanović.
After the recitations were finished, the Christmas tree was lit with appropriate fireworks. The host of Christmas Eve was Nemanja Bulatović.
