Damir Muković, professional world champion in the discipline K1
In front of about 2,500 spectators in the Sports Center on Banžova brdo tonight, a sports spectacle was held in kickboxing, in which our compatriot Damir Muković defeated the Hungarian Balazs Rozsa by knockout in the second round and won the title of Professional World Champion in the discipline K1.
Montenegrin national team member, competitor of Rozaj club Univerzum, Damir Muković has had 87 matches in his career so far, of which he won 75. He is a medal winner at championships around the world and a multiple participant in the European championship. Until now, he was the champion of Montenegro, Serbia and Montenegro, the vice-champion of the Balkans and the World Cup, and the professional champion of Europe in the K1 discipline in the category up to 72.5 kg.
Zlatna Damir Muković was presented with the World Champion cup by the President of the Municipality, Mr. Nusret Kalač.
The competition was opened by the vice-president of the world WKU pro federation, Mr. Nijaz Mujić.
Before the main match, the spectators had the opportunity to see five preliminary fights in which the competitors of Kick Boxing Club Univerzum, Dejvid Kajević, Edin Murić, Haris Kujević, Džemal Salihović and Tarik Mehović, also won the gold.
The mediator of the spectacle, who managed to maintain a heated fan atmosphere in the hall on Banžovo brdo, was the journalist Ferid Kujević, and during the breaks the audience was entertained by the brilliant Almir Salović.
