Day of mourning for the death of Ibiš Kujević

The President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Rahman Husović, made the decision to declare April 2 as the Day of Mourning in Rožaje due to the death of Ibiš Kujević, the founder and choreographer of the Cultural and Artistic Society "Vrelo Ibra" and a prominent cultural and artistic creator.

"Ibiš Kujević spent his working life dedicated to preserving and affirming Bosniak culture and tradition. He is the recipient of numerous recognitions and awards for his cultural and artistic creativity, which earned him the respect of both his fellow citizens and people around the world. Today, Rožaje is left without an ambassador of culture, but his works will protect his name and the history of the rich cultural and artistic reality of our region from being forgotten," said President Husović when making the decision to declare the Day of Mourning.

The Day of Mourning is marked by flying the flag at half-mast on the Municipality building, public institutions and enterprises founded by the Municipality, facilities of local communities and other institutions in the area of Rožaj.

Electronic and other media, organizers of public programs and content are obliged to adapt their programs and content to the Day of Mourning.

During the Day of Mourning, it is forbidden to broadcast music, that is, to hold programs of an entertaining nature in a public place, according to the Decision.
