Today, the winter tourist season officially opened in Rožaje

President of the Municipality Rahman Husovic on that occasion, together with his colleagues, visited the Turjak ski slope, which is currently open to snow sports enthusiasts.

"The local self-government invests significant funds in the operation of the Turjak ski resort so that our citizens have the opportunity to enjoy the snow and to maintain the beautiful tourist tradition of this place" said the president Husovic to the media.

He added that Rožaje has very good natural conditions for the development of tourism, especially winter tourism.

"We hope that the construction of the future ski center "Hajla-Štedim" will soon be completed and that we will therefore be ready to welcome tourists throughout the winter. It will be an extraordinary opportunity for the economic development of this region, which, I'm sure, will gain a significant place on the regional tourist map.", said the President.
