Delegation from Novi Pazar on an official visit to the Municipality of Rožaje

Representatives of the City of Novi Pazar, led by Mayor Nihad Biševac, paid an official visit to the Municipality of Rožaje today. The delegation consisted of Anela Halilović Šemsović, president of the City Assembly, Nihad Hasanović and Tarik Rupić, mayor's assistants, Husein Memić, director of the Cultural Center and Samir Lekić, head of the Novi Pazar mayor's office.

The guests from Novi Pazar were welcomed by the President of the Municipality Rožaje Rahman Husović, the President of the Municipal Assembly Almir Avdić, the Vice President of the Municipality Ismet Kalač, the Manager of the Municipality Mirsad Džudžević, the Director of the Culture Center Sulejman Beća Kujević and the Head of the Office of the President of the Municipality Emir Kuč.

In the coming period, Rožaje and Novi Pazar will improve cooperation in all segments with the aim of realizing numerous joint ideas. Therefore, concrete initiatives will follow that lead to more intensive communication and implementation of projects that will improve the living environment of our citizens and strengthen interregional connectivity, is the common message from today's meeting.

The interlocutors assessed that the citizens of Rožaj and Novi Pazar are connected by strong kinship, cultural and economic ties, and that in this context it is necessary to consider all possibilities of inter-institutional cooperation between the two countries, which would include support from European funds.

The emphasis of future joint action between Rožaj and Novi Pazar, as it was concluded, will be on the improvement of infrastructure connectivity and the creation of joint educational and cultural contents.
