A delegation of the local administration visited the elementary school "Donja Lovnica"

The President of the Municipality, Mr. Ejup Nurković, with his associates visited the elementary school "Donja Lovnica" and the newly elected director Asmir Hasović.

Director Hasović informed the president about the capacity of the premises and the number of students attending this school, during the conversation it was agreed to solve urgent problems, such as the initiative of the school director to start the construction of a new school building in Ćosovica, the implementation of several other projects and the agreement to in the future, work together to improve the quality of the school's work.

The President of the Municipality emphasized that the local administration makes great efforts to provide children with the highest possible quality education in schools, and encourages their involvement in extracurricular activities, especially when it comes to sports and healthy forms of recreation.

"With the change of government in Rožaje, we found bad working conditions in most schools, especially in rural schools, where there was no adequate equipment, inventory, sports fields and heating. For these reasons, the local administration has concentrated in particular on improving the working conditions in rural schools, where some progress has been made, but larger investments are expected in the coming period. Certainly, the number of students in this school obligates the local administration to support its work, and we will work on it together." said the President of the Municipality.

The delegation of the municipality expressed its satisfaction with the already visible progress made by the director. The director informed the guests that the collective has a more than ideal situation in terms of interpersonal relations and collegial cooperation.
