THE DIRECTOR OF THE ZZZ OF MONTENEGRO SULJO MUSTAFIĆ VISITED THE MUNICIPALITY OF ROŽAJE
The director of the Employment Agency of Montenegro, Mr. Suljo Mustafić, visited the municipality of Rožaje with his colleagues.
The topic of discussion was the possibility of overcoming the problem of unemployment through the joint action of the national employment service and local administration.
President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Mr. Ejup Nurković, presented the problems faced by the local administration when it comes to employment, the dynamics of which is very slow. Also, the president said that the communication between the Government, the Institute and the local administration should be raised to a higher level in order to intensify the employment of young people of all educational profiles with subsidies from the state and local level.
The local administration is ready to be an effective partner of the Government and the Employment Office in implementing the initiative for faster and more efficient employment and animation of young people, through the employment program, with easier conditions offered by the Government of Montenegro in cooperation with the institutions.
The president drew attention to the very pronounced problem of lack of information about certain projects and competitions and public calls, to which target groups do not respond in a timely manner because they do not send information on time, and that more work needs to be done on the media front.
Director of ZZZ, Mr. Suljo Mustafić said that ZZZ is a very large and complex administrative apparatus, which can be said to be one of the more organized institutions in the country, which strives to provide adequate service to all citizens of Montenegro.
Health insurance has been transferred to the ZZZ fund, and in the coming period, more realistic monitoring and records of the unemployed will be made possible, but in any case, Mustafić said, the municipality of Rožaje leads in the number of unemployed persons, and that number currently stands at 3,508 at the Employment Office.
Mustafić further said that certain actions and activities will be undertaken in order to reduce the number of unemployed.
Writing and creating projects for professional training should be at a higher level in order to facilitate the approval of funds. Therefore, the Employment Service as an institution is open for cooperation and assistance in this segment and we are at your disposal, emphasizes Mustafić.
It is up to us to work with employers, to coordinate in the best possible way, because every newly employed person is one less person at the institution. Therefore, the Government's instructions are to pay special attention to the north of Montenegro, and a new grant for professional rehabilitation will be announced, so this is another opportunity to withdraw certain funds on that basis, concluded Mustafić.
Nezir Dacić, Secretary of the Secretariat for Development and Evaluation, referred to the problem of the gray zone and the inefficiency of the inspection services, whose competences are not clearly defined, which reflects badly on the contributions that the Local Government should have based on the operations of local companies. With that, I think that the powers of local and state services to suppress work in general should be harmonized, said Dacić.
It was concluded that there is passivity in applying for certain competitions where people with a secondary education are sought who do not want to give up certain benefits they have from the institute and refuse the offered jobs, which automatically reflects badly on the unemployment balance sheet and therefore creates big problems for employers. problems due to the labor force deficit, and that we should work on suppressing such situations and encouraging young people to apply for competitions advertised by local companies, because this is the most effective way to reduce unemployment and create new and long-term business opportunities.
