"A child's smile" lit up the yard of the kindergarten "Boško Buha"
Yesterday, in the yard of the "Boško Buha" kindergarten in Rožaje, the Children's Smile event was held, organized by the Diaspora Center of the Rožaje Local Administration in cooperation with the said kindergarten.
On this occasion, children were given gifts in the form of toys, and funds were donated to orphaned children to cover the costs of kindergarten for 8 months. The aim was to help single parents with financial expenses and to encourage parents to send their children to kindergarten, as this is an important step in their growth and an important preparation for elementary school.
The event was attended by the President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Ejup Nurković with his colleagues, the director of the kindergarten "Boško Buha" Rešad Kardović, the head of the Diaspora Center, Fahreta Husović, kindergarten teachers, interested citizens, journalists and parents of children staying in the kindergarten.
The President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Ejup Nurković stated that the Local Government of Rožaje thinks of our children and their parents, thanking the initiator of this event, Fahreta Husović, for the effort. He especially thanked the donors from the diaspora, who have shown that they are thinking of us this time by providing us with support in projects, and according to him, other projects will soon be organized in which our collaborators will be in addition to the diaspora from Europe, the Government and municipalities of the Republic of Turkey and the American Embassy.
"The mission of the Center for International Cooperation and Diaspora is to be a bridge of cooperation between the diaspora and the motherland in order to undertake a series of comprehensive, continuous, interconnected measures and activities with the leading role of the Center for International Cooperation and Diaspora. The realization of this event was made possible by the Center for International Cooperation and Diaspora, which operates within the Local Government. Through the diaspora, the center provided funds to single mothers in order to help them settle the expenses and obligations towards the kindergarten and thereby show them that the Local Government is thinking of them. Through the Center, the diaspora also donated funds for the purchase of packets for kindergarten children. Our diaspora has once again shown that we can count on it, and it is precisely thanks to the diaspora that we managed to realize this project. On this occasion, I sincerely thank them. We owe special thanks to: Sadrija-Sak Dacić, Mehmed-Meša Omerović, Sead Ćorović, Haćif Kurbardović, Hajrudin Ledinić and Esad-Esko Murić. I would also like to thank the director of the "Boško Buha" kindergarten, Mr. Rešad Kardović, who came to meet us.
Being a single parent is not easy anywhere. In our region, it is a particularly big challenge. It is not rare that the environment looks at single parents somehow differently, very often with suspicion. It is very difficult for single parents, especially mothers, to raise their children, because they have to make all the decisions themselves, which is a great responsibility considering the situation and conditions in which their children grow up, which are full of temptations. It was not difficult for me to come up with the idea for organizing this event. Maybe because I am also a child raised by a single mother. Dear mothers, I want to take this opportunity to support you and send a message that you do not lose hope and that even though it is not easy for you, you walk bravely through life, because your children can also become successful people one day. In that name, a big thank you to all single mothers. Mother, it's too little to say: thank you!she said in her address Fahreta Husović.
After that, the director of the "Boško Buha" kindergarten, Rešad Kardović, spoke, urging everyone to send their children to the kindergarten, because the monthly payment price for the kindergarten is symbolic, in the amount of 35 euros.
Attendees of the kindergarten cheered up the attendees with their recitations, games and dances, showing them the importance of going to kindergarten and the importance of socializing with peers.
