Husejin Kansu visited Rožaje - a reception held by the President of the municipality
The President of the Municipality, Mr. Ejup Nurković, received Mr. Husejin Kansu, a high-ranking official in the political and social elite of the Republic of Turkey, into his cabinet today.
HuseJin Kansu is a Bosniak by origin, whose ancestors from Prijepolje moved to Turkey eight decades ago. From a young age, he was involved in the political life of Turkey, and in 1994 he was elected a member of the Istanbul General Assembly.
Kansu is a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Turkish Parliament and the president of the Turkey-Bosnia-Herzegovina inter-parliamentary friendship group. He is a member of the founding team of various associations, foundations and centers for strategic research.
Representatives of the Majlis of the Islamic Community from Rožaj also attended this meeting, as did prof. Dr. Nadir Dacić from Prijepolje.
The meeting discussed the improvement of cultural and economic cooperation and the connection of business entrepreneurs from Turkey who are originally from this area.
