Interest in the work of Merhamet was shown by holders of local and state positions

The President of the Municipality, Rahman Husović, visited the "Merhamet" Charitable Society today.

The aim of the tour of this humanitarian organization, which for years has been taking care of socially vulnerable categories of the population in the territory of the municipality of Rožaje, was to provide support for its work, especially in the current period that requires the networking of all human and technical resources in order to help citizens. The President pointed out the social importance of all organizations engaged in humanitarian work and praised the activities of Merhamet, which, as he assessed, are reserved for every person in a state of social need, regardless of national, religious, political or other affiliation.

Minister of the Government of Montenegro Osman Nurković, MP Ervin Ibrahimović, President of the Municipal Committee of the Bosniak Party in Rožajje Husein Kurtagić and director of Waterworks Senad Mujević also showed interest in the work of Merhamet.

The president of Merhamet, Sead Kurtagić, expressed his satisfaction that the organization headed by him was visited by people who, as he said, hold the highest positions and responsibilities both in the state and in Rožaj. He also said that the Merhamet volunteers are on the ground day and night to distribute food and other necessities to their fellow citizens, and that they respect all temporary protection measures and the recommendations of the National Coordination Body.

The charitable society "Merhamet" in Rožaje was officially registered in 2012 and is widely known for its social engagement and the wide range of social services it provides to its users.
