SELECTED BEST ATHLETES AND SPORTS TEAMS IN ROŽAJE
In the organization of the Rožaje Local Administration headed by the president, Mr Ejup Nurković, in Rožaje, plaques were presented to the best athletes and sports teams for 2015. At the session presided over by the chairman of the commission, Mr Husein Kuragić and the secretary for social activities and sports, Aysel Kalac with his associates, the best athletes and sports teams for 2015 were selected.
For the best sports team, the basketball club "Ibar" which has recorded a positive trend in the table of the first Montenegrin ERSTE League for the second year and a historic placement in F4 Cup of Montenegro. KK Ibar also ranks between first and third place. Let us remind you that this sports collective has become a recognizable sports brand both in Rožaje and in Montenegro, and that the experience and teamwork coordinated by the club president Dr. Izet Bralic, really paid off when it comes to sports results and raising sports awareness in Rožaje. The plaque was presented by the President of the Municipality, Mr Ejup Nurković.
He received a plaque for the best athlete of the year Remzija Dacić, a professional European champion who achieved outstanding international results and whose career is on an upward trajectory.
He is the best coach Resad Kardovic from PSD Hajla, a man who has been skiing for 35 years, and from those ranks also emerged an Olympian from Rožaj Tarik Hadzic. The plaque was presented to him by the president of OO BS, Mr Amer Nokić.
The best athlete of the year is a volleyball player Bojana Bulatović.
The plaque was presented by a member of the Parliament of Montenegro and the president of the OO SDP-Rožaje, Mr. dr. Izet Bralic.
Bulatović says that she is honored with this plaque and that it is a motivation to continue to give good results in sports. Among other things, she pointed out that her teammates, with whom she wants to go to new victories, are also responsible for this award, and she owes special thanks to the coach. Isku Bećović who does his best to make ŽOK "Ibar" a successful team and sports team.
President of the Municipality, Mr Ejup Nurković in his address, he pointed out that in the coming period, the Local Government will help sports teams even more intensively and work on improving the sports infrastructure. Pointing out that sport is a very important segment of society and that athletes are initiators of healthy and good habits, which we really need today.
