The construction of the city collector is proceeding according to plan

The construction of the wastewater treatment plant in Rožaje is proceeding according to plan.

Currently, works are being carried out on the improvement of the banks and fortifications of the Ibar, and in parallel, the sewer pipes for the future collector are being installed.

The wastewater treatment plant, which is an integral part of the collector, will be located on the site of the former "Ljekobilje" factory, and the collector will stretch from the Dimiška bridge to the plant itself with branches along the Lovnička river.

The city collector is one of the most important capital projects in the municipality, the realization of which creates conditions for reaching European standards in the field of waste water management while simultaneously protecting the environment, and creates prerequisites for a positive impact on public health.

The total costs of the project are estimated between 12 and 13 million euros, of which the largest amount of funds will be provided from EU funds. The first phase of the works, which is ongoing, is financed by the Public Works Administration.
