PUBLIC DISCUSSION ON THE DRAFT BUDGET DECISION FOR 2013

A public hearing was held today on the proposal for the Decision on the Budget of the Municipality of Rožaje for 2013. In addition to the president and his associates, the citizens of the municipality of Rožaje also attended the meeting, who actively participated in the discussion on this topic, giving and suggesting very constructive proposals.

The budget is planned for the amount of €4,660,000.00, of which €3,369,904.08 is planned for the current part, while €1,290,095 is planned for the capital part of the budget. €92. Which is about 28 ℅ of funds intended for communal infrastructure in relation to the planned Budget.

Professional services will analyze the proposals of citizens that were heard at the public debate, and study the possibility and justification of them to be included in the final text of the Budget, which will be sent to the SO for adoption.

We will pay particular attention to the proposals that have been heard, which are related to increasing funds for education, social benefits and sports, we consider them justified, but at the moment we are facing serious limitations, taking into account the level and structure of the income that is the basis for filling the Budget. We will also analyze the request of the utility company to increase the funds necessary for the maintenance of public areas in winter and summer, given that the number of them has increased.
