If we exclude the fact that there was neither media nor a large audience, the match was played in a very sporting and friendly manner. The guests were better and the final score was 32:28 for the guests.
The president and coach of the wheelchair basketball club, Mr. Šefkija Bećiragić, said in a statement to RT that this is a historic moment, given that it is the first game of its kind in Rožaje, and he also emphasized that it is a special honor and pleasure for him to work with these boys and that their positive energy and strength sincerely delights and inspires him.

In addition, he emphasized that the Municipality of Rožaje, through a new approach and concrete action, will continue to help this and similar associations that gather this very vulnerable but valuable population. Pointing out that the Local Government started the employment program for people with disabilities with the belief that they can perform all adequate jobs as well as people without disabilities, even better and more responsibly. He thanked the guests from the "Paramont" team for taking their time and coming to support our boys so that wheelchair basketball could come to life, because in this way it representatively and adequately draws attention to the needs of people with disabilities and their indisputable intellectual and physical readiness and absolute equality. with friends.

Wheelchair basketball is a sport that has existed for about 70 years, and has been a Paralympic sport since Rome in 1960. However, despite its decades-long history, very little is known about this sport in our country and, unjustifiably, not enough attention is paid to it.
