Namely, every second citizen believes that physically punishing children is acceptable, as well as that yelling at a child is not violence. One third of citizens believe that slapping and threatening a child are not violence, while one quarter do not recognize blackmail as a form of violence in raising children. The majority of citizens (77%) believe that parents should not allow their child to question their decisions.
Through local events, the campaign "Let's stop the violence" invites the whole society, and especially experts, to unite with parents in the search for solutions that will enable both parents and children to grow together.
