RTR team visiting President Husović

The collective of the local public broadcaster "Radio televizija Rožaje" visited President Rahman Husović and wished him successful work in the position of first man of the Municipality.

The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss numerous topics related to the work of that media, as well as the presentation of the vision of its future activities.

President Husović said that the local self-government will provide support to RTR - in the field of implementation of program tasks, expressing the conviction that the work of employees in that media house will continue to be based on objectivity and respect for public interests.

"The work of the media should be based on the principle of objectivity, and employees in that sector, in order to raise the level of general information, should point out shortcomings in the work of institutions in order to identify common problems and solve them faster." Quality and responsible media engagement is closely related to the overall social progress of both the local community and the state. Local media have an irreplaceable role on that path," said the President.

The acting director of RTR, Rešad Kalač, said that the local public broadcaster is ready to further intensify its work in the future in the direction of the presentation of all events that affirm Rožaje as an environment that inherits positive social values and that encourages the creation of a living environment based on tolerance and quality interpersonal relations. Kalač pointed out that RTR is a service for all citizens and an inseparable segment of local social reality.
