Competition for awarding scholarships for the 2017/2018 school year
The Secretariat for the General Administration of the Municipality of Rožaje, based on Article 7 of the Decision on Scholarships and Approving One-time Student Aid No. 3434 of August 24, 2015 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Montenegro 31/2015 of September 8, 2015), and in connection with Article 10 paragraph 1 of the Decision on Amendments to the Decision on the Organization and Mode of Work of Local Administration No. 3348 of August 12, 2016 (Official Gazette of Montenegro Municipal Regulations No. 38/16 of August 25, 2016) ,
COMPETITION
FOR THE AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE 2017/2018 SCHOOL. A YEAR
1. CONDITIONS OF THE CONTEST
The right to receive a scholarship is for students:
- Who reside in the territory of the municipality of Rožaje;
- Who regularly completed the previous years of study within the stipulated period;
- Who do not receive a scholarship from another entity;
2. CRITERIA FOR AWARDING A SCHOLARSHIP
- Criterion based on the average grade obtained during the previous study years;
- Criterion of social status and other social circumstances;
- Deficit occupation;
- Parallel studies;
Every student can participate in the competition according to one criterion he chooses as
the most favorable.
3. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
- Certificate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Public Administration about the residence of the student.
- Certificate from the Faculty (Academy) about the enrollment of the current year of study (2017/18) in which it will be indicated that the semester of the study year is enrolled for the first time as well as the study year when the student was enrolled at the Faculty (Academy).
- Certificate from the Faculty (Academy) about the number of passed exams from the previous academic year (2015/16) with grades by subject and overall grade point average (for students according to the Bologna Declaration, the higher education institution will show the grade point average from the previous year and in the numerical equivalent with two decimal places).
- Certificate from the Faculty (Academy) about the duration of studies and post-graduate internship (for final year students).
- Certificates of studies issued in a foreign language must be translated by a permanent court interpreter.
In addition to the proof of fulfillment of the general conditions, the student is obliged to attach the proofs related to
the criteria provided for in point II of this competition.
4. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
The deadline for submitting requests and necessary documentation is 30 days (from September 30, 2017 to October 30, 2017).
Untimely and incomplete requests will not be considered.
5. AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIPS
The order of students for the awarding of scholarships is determined based on the criteria established by the Decision on Student Scholarships (no. 3434 of August 24, 2015, Official Gazette of Montenegro - Municipal Regulations 31/2015 of September 8, 2015) and the Rules of Procedure of the Commission.
The decision on awarding scholarships is published on the bulletin board in the Municipality building, on an electronic medium and on the website of the Municipality of Rožaje.
6. AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship for the 2017-2018 school year will be paid for 10 months in the monthly amount of 50 euros.
The beneficiary of the scholarship signs a scholarship agreement with the President of the municipality, which specifies mutual rights and obligations.
