Competition for NGOs

Based on Article 3 of the Decision on the criteria, method and procedure for the distribution of funds to non-governmental organizations in the Municipality of Rožaje ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia" - municipal regulations No. 14/07), the Secretariat for Culture and Social Activities of the Municipality of Rožaje, announces

 

 

COMPETITION
For the distribution of funds from the budget of the Municipality of Rožaje intended for the financing of non-governmental organizations for the year 2014

 

1.  Non-governmental organizations with headquarters or projects related to the municipality of Rožaje, registered by the date of the announcement of the competition, are invited to apply for the Contest for the distribution of funds from the budget of the Municipality of Rožaje intended for the financing of non-governmental organizations in the municipality of Rožaje for the year 2014. within 30 days from the date of publication.

 

1. The distribution of funds is carried out by the Commission for the distribution of funds to non-governmental organizations.

 

 

1. When announcing the Competition for each year, the Commission defines the priorities for the development of projects. For this year, priority is given to projects related to:

- improving the living conditions of children in accordance with the Local Action Plan for Children;

- social care for young people;

- affirmation of the cultural potential and traditions of the municipality;

 

1. A non-governmental organization submits an application for the Competition on the prescribed application form, which can be obtained from the Municipality's office.
2.   Along with the application, non-governmental organizations are required to submit:

- proof of registration in accordance with the Law on NGOs (Official Gazette of Montenegro No. 39/2011)

– the project with which the organization applies for the allocation of funds;

- a brief description of the organization with data on previously implemented projects;

- a guarantee (statement) of the authorized person that she did not receive funds from another donor for the project or part of the project they are applying for, which contains provisions on acceptance of responsibility based on Article 244 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro.

 

1. Non-governmental organizations that were awarded funds through a public tender for the previous year, also attach a report on the implementation of the project, with a detailed description of the phases of implementation and a detailed explanation of any deviations, including a financial report, the content of which is prescribed by law.

 

           If the organization does not submit the required reports, it cannot 

            participate in the distribution of funds for the year in which the funds

            assign.

 

1. "Open Day" will be held on February 3, 2014 (Monday) in the reading room of the National Library starting at 12:00 p.m.

 

1. Applications for the competition with the project and accompanying documentation must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the address of the Secretariat for Culture and Social Activities of the Municipality of Rožaje - Independent Consultant for NGOs (by February 13, 2014).
