The Consul of the Republic of Poland, Mrs. Agnieszka Klasa, visited the Municipality of Rozaje

Today, the President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Ejup Nurković, received in his cabinet the Consul of the Republic of Poland in Montenegro, Mrs. Agnieszka Klasa, in order to start cooperation in the field of agriculture with institutions in Poland.

Given that Poland, as a member of the EU, has more favorable circumstances for obtaining funds from European funds, opportunities for joint projects with institutions in Montenegro are opening up. The goal of future cooperation will be the networking of Polish municipalities and businessmen with municipalities and businessmen from Montenegro, in order to work together to improve the working conditions of businessmen in both countries. Mrs. Klasa asked to be provided with data on the economic and tourist potential of the Municipality of Rožaje, in order to make a presentation on our municipality at the symposium for farmers in Poland on September 28 this year in Lublin and Warsaw. He was also interested in the list of products and services of economic producers from our municipality in order to establish contact with Polish partners.

The meeting also discussed other possibilities for cooperation between our municipality and institutions in Poland, and Mrs. Klasa encouraged all interested students from Rožaj to contact the Polish embassy in Montenegro if they want to apply for some of the Erasmus programs in Poland.
