This year's "Days of Diaspora-Emigrants" event in Rožaje

President of the Municipality Rahman Husovic met with the acting director of the Directorate for Cooperation with Diaspora-Expatriates Seid Hadzic who visited Rožaje with his colleagues in order to discuss the organization of the event with representatives of the local self-government "Diaspora-emigrant Days".

Appreciating the number and contribution of our emigrants who come from Rožaj and its surroundings, Hadžić expressed the intention and desire of the Directorate for Cooperation with Diaspora-Expatriates to organize this year's event, the fifth in a row, "Days of the Diaspora - Expatriates" in Rožaj.

Hadžić informed the President of the Municipality about the importance and complexity of organizing such a manifestation, which is very significant both for the diaspora and for Montenegro itself. In this sense, he shared his experiences from last year's "Days of Diaspora-Emigrants" event in Bijelo Polje, which was characterized as one of the most significant and successful events organized by the state administration.

The President of the Municipality of Rožaje gladly accepted the proposal of the Administration, emphasizing that Rožaje has a very large diaspora, as well as that the Administration for Cooperation with the Diaspora-Expatriates can expect full support from the Municipality in organizing this important event.

In the continuation of the conversation, the interlocutors considered the possible dates, venue, as well as the program of the event itself. In this regard, it was agreed that the fifth event "Diaspora-emigrant Days" will be held on Thursday, July 28 and Friday, July 29, 2022 in Rožaje.

In the following period, the cooperation between the Municipality of Rožaje and the Administration for Cooperation with Diaspora-Expatriates will continue with the aim of designing and preparing a comprehensive program for the upcoming manifestation.
