"We can - we will! Democracy, gender equality"

The NGO "Association for the Development of Civil Society" from Bijelo Polje, with the financial support of the American Embassy in Podgorica, implements the project "Democracy - Gender Equality" through the program of small grants.

The project is implemented in five municipalities in the north-east of Montenegro.

The municipality of Rožaje is one of the partners in the implementation of the project.

The aim of the project is to strengthen the capacity of women in the north-east of Montenegro.

The participants of the seminar are representatives of local administration, political parties, relevant institutions, councilors in the local parliament as well as representatives of NGOs.

Different topics were covered: gender roles, institutional mechanism for achieving gender equality, study of gender inequalities and integration of gender equality at the local level.
