Today, the newly appointed Minister of Labor and Social Welfare visited the Municipality of Rožaje Milosevic works with your advisor Sergej Sekulović and the director of the employment office Boris Marić.
The meeting was attended by mothers' representatives as well as the head of the Rožaje Labor Bureau, Hamid Kujević, and was received by the vice-president of the Rožaje Municipality, Mirsad Azemović, with his associates.
After the opening speech of Vice President Azemović, the floor went to the head of the Labor Bureau in Rožaje, Hamid Kujević, who explained the basis of the problem and the complexity of the procedure itself. Considering that many of the shortcomings that are now evident occurred when he was not in office. In addition, he informed the minister that the problematic archive is from the 90s to 2003, since when the electronic database has been applied, and that the period from 2003 is not disputed.
The representatives of the mothers presented the problem they had to the minister and said that they are not to blame for the fact that someone lost or destroyed the archive with their records, which they need to exercise their rights.
He is a minister Marić kept the promise he made in Podgorica at the recent reception of disenfranchised mothers, that he would visit Rožaje and listen to the problems faced by these women. He familiarized himself with the problem in detail and announced the quick reaction of the Ministry and competent sectors in order to solve this problem as soon as possible.
The director of the Employment Service of Montenegro, Boris Marić, expressed his position, saying that he will do everything in his power from his position, which is based on the law, stressing that the law must be respected and that all those who are proven guilty will be held accountable. that they were working outside the law. Which additionally instilled hope in a positive solution to this problem.
The head of the office of the President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Ismet Kalač, supported the statements of the mothers and gave an overview of this evident problem from his perspective, and emphasized that there should not be a gap between the Center for Social Work and disenfranchised mothers, on the contrary, we should go in the direction of fairness and respect for legal regulations which protect the rights of these women.
The Vice President of the Municipality, Mirsad Azemović, also supported the demands of the mothers and said that the local administration fully supports the struggle of mothers to realize their rights and that they, as an institution, monitor the process and events related to the realization of the rights of mothers.
The minister and his associates will also visit the Institute for Social Welfare in Rožaje.
