IBR'S INCREDIBLE COVERAGE IN NIKŠIĆ AND CELEBRATION AFTER TWO OVERTIMES
In the derby of the 22nd round of the ERSTE League, the Ibra basketball players defeated the Sutjeska team away from home after two overtimes with a score of 97:104.
The people of Nikšić opened the match furiously, gaining 10 extra points in the 6th minute (17:7).
However, Rožajci retaliated in kind, and with a series of 14:5 by the end of the period, they were only one point behind (22:21).
Ibar then turned the score around, so he had a tangible 5 points plus at the break (36:41).
Sutjeska turned the score around in the third period and took the lead 53:50, but Rožajci entered the last quarter with a 7:0 series (53:57).
Ibar was leading 55:64 and 63:70, but the people of Nikšić, through Đoković, Šalić and Tomas, reversed the result to 75:72 with 40 seconds to go.
A series of free throws followed, for Ibar, Armin Kalić made one free throw, while on the other side Goranović was also accurate once (76:73).
Sutjeska basketball players again fouled Armin Kalić, who hit the first shot, and after the missed second shot, the ball came into the hands of Rondović, who missed the zicer, but the ball was picked up by Šekularac, who scored easily for 76:76.
There were still 14 seconds to go, Sutjeska started the action hastily and lost the ball, and Ibar had a couple of attempts to win the game, but he didn't succeed, and an extra 5 minutes went into the game.
Sutjeska took the lead 88:83 with 5 tied points by Igor Čvorović with a score of 83:83 and was on the verge of victory with 30 seconds left.
However, Ibra basketball players did not think so, as they immediately scored through Marko Ljujić with a foul (88:86).
The residents of Rožaj quickly committed a foul on James, who made both free throws with 19 seconds left (90:86).
Armin Kalić restored uncertainty with a solo breakthrough (90:88), and then committed a foul on Lalić, who missed both free throws.
The ball was caught by Kalić again, and in the continuation of the action, Šekularac missed a three-pointer for the win, however, Marko Ljujić reached the offensive jump and scored with a great turn at the sound of the siren for a new overtime (90:90).
Full of self-confidence, Milan Rondović's team played brilliantly in overtime, winning at the end with 104:97.
The most effective in the Ibra team was Marko Ljujić with 25 points, followed by Rondović with 18, Šekularac with 14, Armin Kalić with 11 and Vuković with 10.
At Sutjeska, Đoko Šalić scored 30 points, James had 19 with 9 assists, Đoković 14 and Čvorović 11.
