The storm during the weekend caused enormous material damage to citizens

Heavy rain, accompanied by thunder and stormy winds, which fell on the Rožaj area in the night between Saturday and Sunday, caused enormous material damage to the citizens. The municipal commission for the assessment of damage from natural disasters visited most of the terrain. The President of the Commission, Armin Honsić, stated that the most affected were individual buildings, road infrastructure and one craft building - the carpentry workshop of the Bralić family.

After the established factual situation, the Commission will draw up a report on the amount of damage and forward it to the Government Commission for Natural Disasters in order to start the process of payment of funds to the accounts of the applicants who suffered damage, the Municipal Commission explains.
