New firefighting uniforms for Rožaj firefighters

The congregation from the German city of Bremen donated 30 sets of protective equipment, consisting of suits and firefighting gloves, to Rožaj firefighters.

The commander of the Protection and Rescue Service, Bećir Kalač, expressed satisfaction that Rožaj firefighters have professional firefighting equipment that meets modern standards.

Kalač warmly thanked all the good people from the diaspora who participated in the campaign to collect funds for the purchase of firefighting equipment and emphasized that thanks to their efforts, Rožaj firefighters will be protected during unfortunate and difficult interventions in the field.

A valuable donation in the form of collective firefighting equipment to the address of the Protection and Rescue Service arrived recently also from Munich, from Jasmin Kajević, a native of Rožaj, who lives and works in that city.

The Municipality of Rožaje started purchasing professional firefighting equipment at the end of last year, for the first time after the establishment of the Protection and Rescue Service.
