The 9th regular session of the Assembly of Rožaje was held

Today, in the small hall of the Odžana Culture Center, the 9th regular session of the Assembly of Rožaje, starting at 11:30 a.m., was attended by 29 councilors (BS 17 councilors, SDP 2 councilors, BDZ 1 councilor and 9 councilors attended from DPS). The session ended at 3:00 p.m.

The first item was ceremonially educational in nature - Presentation of the study on investment in early education of children in Montenegro, which UNICEF prepared in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Yale University, which was attended by: Honorable Excellency the Ambassador of the USA, Mrs. Margaret A. Uyehara, Mr. Benjamin Perks, head of the UNICEF representative office for Montenegro, Jan Krasny, political and economic advisor at the US Embassy, Marija Manojlović, social policy advisor at UNICEF, Milena Labović, political and economic advisor at the US Embassy, Arijana Nikolić Vučinić- Acting General Director of the Directorate for Preschool and Primary Education and Education and Education of Persons with Special Needs, Marija Jovović - PR manager and translator Tamara Jurilina.

Decisions were adopted by the majority of councilors:

Consideration and adoption of the proposal of the Decision on amendments to the Decision on fees for the use of municipal and uncategorized roads and road land in the territory of the municipality of Rožaje;
Consideration and adoption of the proposal for the Decision on giving consent for the election of the director of the National Library of Rožaje;

Decisions were unanimously adopted:

Giving consent to Decision No. 75/15, which was adopted by the Council of the Provincial Museum "Ganića Kula"
Decisions on giving consent to the reprogramming of tax debt;
Consideration and adoption of the proposed Decision on working hours;
Consideration and adoption of the proposal of the Decision on changes and additions to the Decision on the amount, method of calculation and payment of the membership contribution to the Tourist Organization of Rožaje;
Consideration and adoption of the proposal of the Decision on the release of the Board of the Islamic Community of Rojaje from the fee for the communal equipment of the building land for the construction of the administrative-administrative facility "Islamic Center";
Consideration and adoption of the proposed Decision on the twinning of the municipality of Rožaje with the municipality of Goražde;
Consideration and adoption of the proposal for the Decision on giving consent to the Decision on the establishment of the Bijela Crkva Local Community;
Dismissals and appointments.
