A public hearing was held on the draft Decision on the budget of the Municipality of Rožaje for 2023

The Secretariat for Finance and Economic Development of the Municipality of Rožaje held today a central public hearing on the draft Decision on the Budget of the Municipality of Rožaje for 2023. In accordance with the public invitation, the debate was held in the hall of the National Library.

The public debate was attended by the proposer and the processors of the materials, the president of the Municipality of Rožaje Rahman Husovic, secretary of the Secretariat for Finance and Economic Development Ismet Hadžić, assistant secretary of the Secretariat for Finance and Economic Development Mercia Pepić, local government officials, representatives of the NGO sector, local communities, interested citizens and media representatives.          

The draft Decision on the budget of the Municipality of Rožaje for the year 2023 planned funds in the amount of €8,550,000.00.

When planning the budget for 2023, we acted in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Finance for 2023, as well as the budget execution index for 9 months of the current year.

The budget of the Municipality of Rožaje for the year 2023 is planned in the amount of €8,550,000.00 by this Draft, so compared to the Decision on the Budget for the year 2022, which was planned in the amount of €7,660,000.00, it is higher by €890,000.00 € or 10,41%. €7,232,516.96 has been allocated for the current budget.

As for the capital budget, the draft Decision on the Budget for 2023 planned funds in the amount of €1,317,483.04, and compared to the capital budget for 2022, it was increased by €465,634.12.
