A public hearing was held on the draft Investment Program for the following year
Ten million euros will be invested in various infrastructure projects
Despite the fact that the draft of the Investment Program for the next year of the local government in Rožaje plans to spend as much as 10,000,000 euros in various infrastructure projects, the public discussion of the draft document showed that the needs in that area are greater. Director of the Agency for Investments and Spatial Planning, Mirsad Džudžević, explained that the local administration will finance projects worth 4.6 million.
- Although the budget for the next year has planned an investment of 2.1 million euros, we expect the support of donors and citizens in order to realize what we have planned. The rest of 5.5 million will be supported by the Directorate of Public Works, government departments and the Directorate for Traffic - Džudžević said.
He said that rural infrastructure will be financed with the funds from the local budget, which refers to the rehabilitation of local roads, asphalting, rehabilitation of wild landfills and solid waste, regulation of fecal sewage and improvement of electricity supply.
Džudžević points out that part of the projects were submitted to the Directorate of Public Works, which are related to capital projects, the implementation of which started this year.
- It is about the road to Štedim, Ćosovsko Vrel, the construction of a day center for children with special needs, as well as the roads to Balotići, Šušteri and Radetina, and the rehabilitation of roads to Koljen, Donja Lovnica, Bogaje and other rural roads. At the Traffic Directorate, we applied for two roundabouts and one footbridge, and at the Ministry of Education, several school playgrounds - explains Džudžević.
He said that the local communities submitted their priorities in written form, which will be considered and realistically acceptable, included in the Investment Program, that is, that the local government is on the right track to make a good investment plan for the next year.
