VIII regular session of SO Rožaje was held

The eighth regular session of the Rožaje Municipality Assembly was held on April 22, 2019. In order to further refine the material by the proponent, the Report on the work of the municipal president with the report on the performance of the functions of local self-government was withdrawn from the Proposed Agenda, as well as the Report on the work with the financial report for 2018 of LJE "Radio-television Rožaje".

Representatives of the citizens in the local parliament considered and adopted the work reports with financial reports for the past year of other institutions founded by the municipality and their work programs for 2019 (DOO "Vodovod i kanalizacija"; DOO "Komunalno"; Tourist organization; JU Zavičajni museum "Ganića Kula"; JU Center for Culture Rožaje; LLC "Sports Center"; JU National Library, LLC "Ski Center Hajla"; JU Day Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities and Difficulties in Development; LLC "Agency for Design and Development ").

While considering the reports, the councilors concluded that most institutions are faced with the problem of redundant workers and that they must urgently start implementing remedial measures based on the optimization of workplaces.
The Program of investment activities of the municipality for the current year was also adopted, as well as the proposals for decisions on the loan debt of the municipality of Rožaje for the purpose of refinancing obligations based on loans; on amendments to the Decision on determining public interest on land for the purpose of building a wastewater treatment plant with accompanying facilities; on determining the location for the construction of a home for the elderly; about auto-taxi transportation; on the conditions and manner of keeping pets, the manner of dealing with abandoned and lost pets and the manner of care and control of their breeding; on the method of separate collection and collection of municipal waste for processing in the territory of the municipality of Rožaje; on amendments to the Decision on the transfer of ownership rights over land no. 319 of 29 November 2019; and repealing Decision no. 719 of 13.02. 2014 and no. 92 of 13.04. In 2015, the Agreement from 2014 on the allocation of land under lease to DOO "Gradina company" was terminated.
Dismissals and appointments of members of individual committees and councils were also on the agenda.
The municipal assembly also confirmed the decisions of the council on the appointment of Fetija Kurtagić as director of the National Library and Sulejman Beća Kujević as director of the Rožaje Culture Center.
