Let's make life easier for children with special needs

As part of the celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, an event was organized today in the premises of the NGO "Let's make life easier for children with special needs", the aim of which was to once again remind of the unenviable position of people with disabilities, especially children.

In front of the NGO, Mrs. Vezira Ćosović greeted those present, who thanked the president of the municipality, Nusret Kalač, who, since the day the NGO was founded, has shown attention and understanding for children with special needs, and has traditionally made the little ones happy with valuable gifts on this occasion.

On behalf of the Local Administration, the President of the Municipality, Mr. Nusret Kalač, greeted the attendees, who congratulated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, pointing out that persons with disabilities have their own values, qualities, abilities and knowledge that can greatly contribute to the society in which we live.

On this occasion, the President of the Municipality informed the parents of children with special needs and the representatives of the mentioned NGO that the preparatory works for the construction of the Day Center for Children with Special Needs have begun, that funds in the amount of €400,000.00 have been provided for the realization of this project and that the next third of December, as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, will be celebrated in that facility.
