The municipality will provide support to the Institute in reducing unemployment in Rožaje

The President of the Municipality, Rahman Husović, met today with the director of the Employment Institute of Montenegro, Suljo Mustafić, who was in Rožaje with his colleagues today on the occasion of the promotion of the Grants for Self-Employment Program. Mustafić presented the current and planned self-employment and employment programs to the first person of the Municipality, noting that their promotion and realization shows the commitment of the Government, the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare and the Institute to the development of the northern region. He assessed that strong cooperation between the Institute and local communities is extremely important on the way to achieving that goal.
At the beginning of the conversation, President Husović welcomed the decision on the basis of which the Labor Bureau in Rožaje, together with Petnjica, received the status of Regional Unit, stressing that he is satisfied that, in addition to improving efficiency in providing services to citizens, new jobs will be created.
"The local self-government will provide support to all programs implemented by the Institute in Rožaje in order to jointly reduce unemployment, which is very pronounced at the moment, and contribute to the improvement of the living environment of citizens. I welcome the efforts of the Institute, headed by Mr. Mistafić, which lead to the implementation of projects whose goal is to improve the quality of life of each individual and to improve the socio-economic picture in less developed communities," said President Husović.

Husović and Mustafić later opened the promotion of the Self-Employment Grant Program, which was attended by a large number of citizens.

As announced, at the beginning of April this year, the Institute will announce the second Public Call for grants for self-employment, from three to 7.5 thousand euros.
