The municipality of Rožaje awarded subsidies for new jobs in the amount of 60,000 euros
The President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Ejup Nurković, at a press conference for journalists, announced the results after the meeting of the Commission for the allocation of subsidies for new jobs, where the decision was made to support 25 companies with subsidies, which will stimulate 38 jobs, in the monthly amount of 255 0.00 euros from the Budget of the Municipality of Rožaje.
As announced, 26 companies responded to the Public Call, one of which did not meet the conditions of the Public Call, because it submitted the documentation after the scheduled duration of the Public Call. 50,000 euros have been allocated from the Local Government Budget for subsidies in agriculture, but agricultural producers who meet the stipulated conditions of the call did not respond to the Public Call, so the Public Call will be repeated soon.
Out of the total number of local companies registered for subsidies, 12 deal with the production program, 11 with trade and service activities, and 2 deal with other activities important for citizens.
Subsidies will be paid immediately upon submission of proof of the paid amount of the gross salary of newly hired employees, and the signing of the Subsidy Agreement will be completed individually with the company owners.
According to the President of the Municipality of Rožaje, funds for subsidies have been allocated according to the possibilities of the local administration, but increased subsidy activities are planned for the next year.
"The local administration of Rožaje went a step further in stimulating young people to work, so it was decided to finance training for 20 young people from Rožaje for security jobs, which will be held in Bijelo Polje. It was decided to take that step after consultations on the needs for establishing such a company in the north of Montenegro. We have witnessed that the security of persons, objects and events is carried out by the police, even though it is not part of their regular activities for the systematization of work and tasks, which opened up a new field of possibilities for special security services. After the training, young people from Rožaj will acquire the right to take the prescribed tests at the relevant ministry, after which the best will receive a certificate that enables them to legally work in the protection of persons and objects that must be protected by law."said Mr. Nurković.
