EIGHTY YEARS OF THE EXISTENCE AND WORK OF FK IBAR
On December 22, 2014, a celebration of the 80th anniversary of FC Ibar was organized in the hall of the Cultural Center in Rožaje. Eighty years of work and existence of our football team fully justify the motto "Jubilee for pride". The event was attended by representatives of the Football Association, General Secretary of the Football Association Miomir Đurđevac, Representatives of the Northern Region FSCG Ranko Stijović and president of the SR FS Vojislav Došljak, president of the Municipality of Rožaje, Ejup Nurković with vice presidents and local government officials, president Ibra Esad Plunac with associates, sports workers, footballers who improved FK Ibar with their work in the past, as well as all younger categories of FK Ibar and international players who successfully wore the jersey of this club: Asmir Kajević, Edvin Kuč, Semir Agović and the Montenegrin representative in women's football Armisa Kuč.
At the beginning of the program, viewers had the opportunity to watch a short film about the origin and history of FC Ibar until the present day, which was followed by the awarding of plaques and certificates of thanks for the help, contribution and support of the existence of FC Ibar until the present day.
The delegation of the Football Association of Montenegro and the Northern Region of the Football Association with sports workers from Rožaj and the president of FC Ibar was welcomed in the Municipality by the President of the Municipality of Rožaj, Ejup Nurković. FSCG representatives expressed their expectations that Rožaje cultivates a healthy sportsmanship, a good youth team, a healthy team and a good relationship with fans from other cities, so that our children can travel all over Montenegro without fear and support the colors of their teams.
According to the General Secretary of the FSCG, Miomir Đurđevac, the FS of Montenegro invested 180,000.00 in the soccer field on Banžova brdo, but they are disappointed with the bad fields and the unfriendly attitude of the former local government towards the funds that were directly sent to them.
"Due to a bad previous experience, the FS of Montenegro will from now on take on the task of finding a contractor to whom the funds will be paid directly and will directly supervise the works; the funds will no longer be paid to the Municipality," said GS FS of Montenegro Miomir Đurđevac.
In order for the Municipality to apply for funds from the Ministry of Finance of Montenegro, quality projects and a partnership relationship in allocating funds are necessary, so the Municipality must allocate the same amount of funds as will be approved from the Ministry of Finance of Montenegro.
